Every 4 years an Area Agency on Aging is required to submit an Area Plan to implement strategies that will improve programs and services to seniors. This Area Plan has been reviewed and approved by the Idaho Commission on Aging, Southwest Idaho Area Agency on Aging Board and Advisory Council. This Area Plan will cover the following timeframe, October 15, 2022-September 30, 2026.

The A3SSA is required to submit a four-year, Strategic Area Plan to the ICOA, and provide annual updates thereafter. This plan is in effect from October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2022, and includes planning efforts and data analysis used within the course of its development. The Area Plan identifies goals, objectives, and strategies to improve the delivery of senior services.
