Living Well with Diabetes
This evidence-based program from Stanford University is for people living with or taking care of someone with diabetes, that would like to learn more about living a healthy life with a chronic condition. The workshop meets once a week for six weeks and covers topics such as: symptoms of diabetes, healthy ways to manage high and low blood sugars, working effectively with health care providers, stress reduction techniques, and the importance of nutrition, diet and exercise. The workshop is FREE and at the end, each participant receives a copy of “Living Well with Chronic Diseases” book and a relaxation CD to take home!
